Team Belgium participated with 56 student topsports athletes at the World University Games Rhine-Ruhr 2025 in Germany.
This has been the largest delegation Belgium has ever participated at these famous Olympic Games for students organised by FISU. Every participant needs to study at a college/university in order to compete at this games.
Hereby a brief overview of the results:
-GOLD: Pole Vault via Elien Vekemans, student at KU Leuven
-SILVER: Taekwondo via Sarah Chaari, student at ULB
-BRONZE: Tennis single for Jana Otzipka, student at UGent
-BRONZE: Artistic gymnastics floor for Jade Vansteenkiste, student at UGent.
Apart from these results, also many 4th places in Men's four rowing, horizontal bar in gymnastics, triple jump and 100m Hurdles.
