First round of the Flemish student championship Basketball

On December 4, the University Sport center of KU Leuven will host the first round of the basketball championship for men & women.

Practical information: 

• Who: Register with the sports responsible of your university/college if you want to participate. 
• Location: Topsporthal, Universitair Sportcentrum KU Leuven

• Registration: teams register at the front office of the topsporthal

Don't forget to bring your student card and water bottle. 

Further course of the competition

• The 4 best teams from the preliminary round will qualify themselves for the semi finals on the 19th of February 2025 at the Sports center of the VUB.
• The 2 winners of the semi finals will compete against each other on the Flemish Final in Leuven on the 12th of March 2025.
• The Flemish champions will face the Walloon champions at the Belgian final in Louvain-la-Neuve on the 2nd of April 2025.

The game schedules will soon be released on tournify. 

The semi finals basketbal men will take place on the 19th of February 2025 at the sports center of the VUB.

The four teams that got qualified for the semi finals will be announced after the prelims. 

The basketbal women won't play semi-finals and will meet at the Flemish finals in Ghent. 

The two winning men's teams from the semi finals will compete against each other on the Flemish finals in Leuven.  

This will take place on March 12. 

The women's team that qualified will be announced after the prelims.
