First round of the Flemish student championship Football

On October 22th in Ghent & on November 5 in Antwerp, 2 of the main study cities will host the first round of the football championship for men.

Practical information Antwerp

• Who: Register with the sports responsible of your university/college, if you're interested to join.
• Location: Wilrijkse Pleinen, Antwerpen

• Registration: teams need to register at the cafetaria of the rugby club.
• Don't forget to bring your student card and water bottle.
  

Practical information Ghent

• Who: Register with the sports responsible of your university/college, if you're interested to join.
• Location: Blaarmeersen, Gent

• Registration: teams register at the front office of the beach house.

Don't forget to bring your student card and water bottle.

Further course of the competition

• The 4 best teams from the preliminary round will qualify themselves for the semi finals on the 25th of February 2026 at the Axion sports hall in Geel.
• The 2 winners of the semi finals will compete against each other on the Flemish Final in Ghent on the 11th of March 2026.
• The Flemish champions will face the Walloon champions at the Belgian final in Leuven on the 1st of April 2026.

SEMI FINALS

The semi finals footbal men will take place on the 25th of February 2026 on the grass pitch of the KFC Punt-Larum.

Following teams will compete against each other to aim for a spot in the Flemish finals: HOGENT - AP; Thomas More - UGent

FINALS

The two winning men's teams from the semi finals will compete against each other on the Flemish finals in Ghent.

This will take place on March 11.
