First round of the Flemish student championship Football

On November 13 in Ghent & on November 20 in Antwerp, 2 of the main study cities will host the first round of the football championship for men.

Practical information Antwerp

• Who: Register with the sports responsible of your university/college, if you're interested to join.
• Location: Wilrijkse Pleinen, Antwerpen

• Registration: teams need to register at the cafetaria of the rugby club.
• Don't forget to bring your student card and water bottle.
  

Practical information Ghent

• Who: Register with the sports responsible of your university/college, if you're interested to join.
• Location: Blaarmeersen, Gent

• Registration: teams register at the front office of the beach house.

Don't forget to bring your student card and water bottle.

Further course of the competition

• The 4 best teams from the preliminary round will qualify themselves for the semi finals on the 19th of February 2025 at the Sports center of the VUB.
• The 2 winners of the semi finals will compete against each other on the Flemish Final in Leuven on the 12th of March 2025.
• The Flemish champions will face the Walloon champions at the Belgian final in Louvain-la-Neuve on the 2nd of April 2025.

SEMI FINALS

The semi finals footbal men will take place on the 19th of February 2025 on the artificial grass pitch of the VUB Sports Center.

The four teams that qualified for the semi finals will be announced after the prelims. 

FINALS

The two winning men's teams from the semi finals will compete against each other on the Flemish finals in Leuven.

This will take place on March 12.
